Medicare Supplement Plan C
in this video that's what we're going to be going over

Sean brady here with My Healthcare Direct we're an independent insurance agency.

we're trying to help as many seniors across the continental us as possible. Today, let's dive into what plan c is, what it is not, and see if it's something that could be an option for you now.

what is part c compared to plan c, well the first thing to understand is they are not the same thing. All right, Medicare’s trying to confuse us again here but Medicare part c is actually a Medicare advantage plan. that's private insurance so that's totally different than plan c.

Plan c is one of the Medicare supplement plans that you can add on to original Medicare, remember that's part a and part b, okay and right here you can see a chart of all the Medicare supplement plans, what they cover, and what they do not. As you can see here, plan c is pretty robust.

It covers everything except your part b excess charges, so you want to be aware of that. another thing that's very important to understand about plan c.

Okay it's a little bit like it's definitely like plan f in this regard whereas you can't enroll in it unless basically after January 1st 2020, you're not going to be able to enroll in this plan which is the same thing for plan f as well.

Okay so for those folks who have turned 65 before January 1st 2020, it could be an option potentially if you were healthy, and you wanted to switch for folks now moving forward. After January 1st 2020 you are not able to enroll in the plan so for many folks this plan is not even an option for you just so you need to understand that as well.

Things it does not cover remember the one box it does not check it's going to be your part b excess charges now they don't come into play too often but want to just give you that information make you aware of that okay your plan c monthly premium is going to be one of your main costs okay how much is this going to cost me Sean so your plan c monthly premium give us a call we can't I don't have a number right off top my head but if you give us a call we can give we can do a quote for you in probably about two minutes real quick we just need your date of birth your zip code and we would have to go over a couple health questions just to make sure about health okay the other thing as far as costs involved with this option is going to be your part b excess charges and we already touched on that so just want to kind of make sure you're aware of that and that's plan c in a nutshell okay it's not like I said it's not going to be available to too many folks based on that the restriction that we went over but I just want to make sure everybody's aware and we're going to go through all the plans so if you like this go ahead and like and subscribe to our page we'd appreciate that and then you'll get notification on new content that comes out and everything like that give us a call if you have any questions whatsoever that's what we're here for we'll be glad to take your interest into account and see what we can do
